Frequently asked questions when making crypto deposits

Updated over 9 months ago

Below are a list of common questions asked by our users on the topic of crypto deposits:

I sent my money to the wrong crypto address

  • Check if it is a familiar address, you may have sent money to a friends address that you copied at another time. Contact the recipient if you can.

  • If you checked and it is not a familiar address, and you have no way to contact the owner, there is unfortunately no way to retrieve the funds.

I sent the wrong coin, or deposited through the wrong network

  • The coins and networks that Toshi Bet accepts are strictly the only ones you can deposit in

  • If you deposit an unsupported coin, or through an unsupported network, we cannot credit you. Please double check coins such as ETH, which are more likely to be sent on the incorrect chain.

  • How to avoid these errors:

    • Confirm that your wallet is on the correct network first.

    • Double check that the coin is listed on our accepted deposit methods.

    • Send a small amount first, to make sure it is credited.

    • Copy and paste the given address or scan the QR code to obtain the crypto address.

    • Take one final check that everything is correct before sending the transaction, as once it is sent, it is completely irreversible.

Pending Deposits

  • Our deposit system credits most coins as soon as they are confirmed on the blockchain, which means the pending time will be close to instantaneous

  • In some cases the pending time can be up to 1 minute due to the amount of time it takes to reach the blockchain, this is common in coins such as Bitcoin or Dogecoin

  • We cannot speed up how long it takes for a coin to be confirmed, this is in the hands of the miners.

Transaction Fees

  • When you send a deposit to our crypto address, you will automatically pay the network fee to cover the transaction.

  • We recommend leaving the network fee as the default shown in your wallet, as reducing network fees can cause large delays in your deposit, as it takes longer to process through the miners.

  • Coins with the lowest network fees are:

    • Solana

    • Dogecoin

    • Litecoin

    • USDT (TRC20)

    • Ethereum (if its not memecoin season)
